Caria made his debut in the 20th century as a cartoonist for a subversive Neapolitan daily newspaper; since then he has written and drawn for many national newspapers, then the first art exhibition, advertising, radio, local television… and SBAM! in Rome he slams into the face of the big screen and it is love at… second sight. Because you never forget your first love of charcoal, ink and acrylics.
My grandmother always used to say: “ it’s better to do one thing well than to do a 100 things badly”… but I never listened to her!! The result is that today I am an artist, a filmmaker and a writer… OK, I may not be Warhol, nor Fellini, nor Salinger… but at the end of the day, Warhol was not Fellini, Salinger was not Warhol, nor Fellini Salinger… while when Caria draws, films or writes, he was still Caria.
It just doesn’t get any better than that!.
