Caria mixes pulp with irony, he links pop-art to expressionism; with a rough and syncopated strokes of Indian ink, felt-tip pens, charcoals and enamels with splashy colors. In the background a Naples lurching towards the future, always ready to explode. Open door to an unknown elsewhere?

There is always a “punctum”, Roland Barthes would say, that changes the meaning of it all: a crumpled can, a flying saucer, a sneer, the distant explosion of a volcano; small disturbing elements like detonators ready to explode.
